Toad XROMM
X-Ray Reconstruction of Moving Morphology
Tools: Maya, Meshlab, Osirix
This project was a part of Professor Laura Ekstrom's biomechanics research on cane toad jumping behaviors at Wheaton College, MA.
Using X-Ray Reconstruction of Moving Morphology, I digitally reconstructed bone models using Meshlab then animated the models using rotoscoping techniques in Maya. I used Osirix to gather center of mass data from MRI scans, which was later used in conjunction with the Maya animations to calculate and understand the forces at play on the target limb.
